Seven mobile phones seized from high security cell in jail

Coimbatore : Officials have seized seven mobile phones from high security cell zone of Central jail here, police said Thursday.
Based on an information about usage of cell phones inside the jail premises, the officials carried out search operations in the high security cells and seized seven cells hidden there late last night, police said.
The officials have lodged a complaint with police and investigations are on to ascertain the users of the cell phones, they said.
