Change in the lifestyle is one of the reasons why cardiac illnesses, diabetes, and other diseases have become younger these days. Doctors also blame it on the increasing levels of stress at home and the workplace. Giving the students of Management Studies of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College valuable tips on how to deal with stress was management consultant Hemamalini Suresh at the two day workshop on ‘Dynamics of Organisational Behaviour.’

In an interactive session, Hemamalini made the students introspect the causes and the levels of stress that they were undergoing. She also offered practical solutions on how to deal with stress. “A certain level of stress is required as it can bring out the best in that individual. However, too much of stress can hinder the performance,” Hemamalini said.

Case studies on stress management were also discussed. On the concluding day of the workshop, Hemamalini clarified the doubts of the students.
