CoP distributes LED lights to patrol bikes

Coimbatore city Police Commissioner A. Amalraj on Wednesday distributed LED lights to 35 patrol motorbikes.
Distributing the blue and red LED lights, Amalraj said that they will help show the presence of police personnel in all the areas so as to curb crimes in the city. “We have already deployed 25 cars for patrolling in the city and the new gadgets will be of greater help as they also come with sirens,” he added.
He further stated that two policemen have been deployed for each bike.
