As part of Industry-Institute Interaction, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) has signed Memoranda of Understanding with three corporate houses.

The corporates are Delphi Automotive Systems, Dimensions Structural Designs, and Origin Cadd Infotech, according to a release.

The MoU would facilitate students’ research, learning practices, in-plant training for UG and PG students, industrial visits and placements, according to KPRIET Principal, K. Bommanna Raja.

It will also facilitate customized training programmes for faculty, joint R&D activities between institutes and industries, guest lecture for students by industry experts, assistance in project work, studies and survey.

Stating that these kinds of activities would help bridge the gap between industry and institute by helping students acquire skills expected by the industry, Bommanna pointed out that such tie-ups would help in creating industry-ready engineers.
