Man dies in accident

A 36-year old man died after his two-wheeler was hit by a school bus near Pollachi on Valparai Road here on Thursday.
According to sources, A. Bashir, a resident of Anna Nagar in Sethumadai, was riding his two-wheeler around 7 p.m. in the evening. Bashir was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital however, he succumbed on the way.
The Valparai sub-division police have registered a case against the bus driver S. Kanagaraj (32) and efforts are on to arrest him.
