Woman dies after falling from moving bus

A 57-year-old woman died of injuries after accidentally falling from a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus near Sundapalayam.
According to sources, the deceased, P. Annapoorani, was a resident of Senkaipidari Amman Temple Street in Sundampalayam. On Thursday, she had boarded a TNSTC bus to reach the city. But, Annapoorani accidentally slipped and fell off the bus after it started moving.
As a result of the fall, Annapoorani sustained injuries and died. The Peruru subdivision police have registered a case against the bus driver, Tamilvanan.
