Sanitary worker commits suicide

In yet another case of sanitary worker suicide, a 56 year old sanitary worker of the Coimbatore Corporation hanged himself to death on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased M.Sivanathan from Shanmugha Nagar was working as a sanitary worker with the Coimbatore city Corporation. He was reportedly suffering from chronic epilepsy and used to hospitalized often. He was also an alcoholic and often quarreled with his family members. Frustrated with this, Sivanathan reportedly hung himself at highway colony on Trichy Road . He is survived by his daughter Gowri and son.
A case has been registered with the Race Course police in this regard and they have started the investigation.
