Black Thunder, Jenny’s cancel new year celebrations

Executive Director Vincent Adaikkal Raj has announced that there will not be any New Year celebrations at Resort Black Thunder and Jenney’s Residency as a means to express solidarity to the victims of the Chennai floods.

Black Thunder has dispatched 25,000 water bottles to the flood victims in Chennai.

Due to the heavy rains in Chennai and its neighboring districts, lakhs of people became homeless and many others lost their lives. The rain was an unexpected one, occurring once in every 100 years. Black Thunder participated in the relief operation by sending water and clothes.

They dispatched the first lorry containing 7,200 bottles on December 7. The remaining bottles were dispatched on December 10. They had also sent necessary items such as bedsheets and clothes.

Executive Director Vincent Adaikkal Raj has announced that there will not be any New Year celebrations at Resort Black Thunder and Jenney’s Residency, Coimbatore, this time.
