Inter-Collegiate Athletic meet ends

Dr. NGP College of Arts and Science won the overall championship in the men’s category and PSGR Krishnammal College won it in the women’s category at the 34th Inter-Collegiate Athletic meet that ended here at Bharathiar University.
Two athletes, A. Deepan Chakravarthi and C.Sharon Nanda, were named the best athletes of the year.
The Department of Physical Education of Bharathiar University conducted the athletic meet in which various colleges participated.
T. Murugan, Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, gave away the prizes. Nine athletes from different colleges had set new meet records.
