AIADMK councillor passes away

An AIADMK councillor, representing 63 ward in the city, died of cardiac arrest in the early hours of today.
Paulraj (53), who was also secretary of party’s district fishermen wing, had dinner last night around 10 pm and threw up all that he ate after some time, police said.
Since he complained of indisposition, he was taken to a private hospital for first aid and was shifted to another private hospital, where he was declared brought dead, in the wee hours, police said.
The body has been kept at his office in Singanallur for the pubic to pay homage and his last rites will be held in the evening, party sources said.
