Man killed in truck two wheeler mishap

A 24 year old man was killed after a truck collided with his two wheeler near Periya Thadagam Pirivu on Sunday.
According to sources, the deceased P.Saravanan from Edayarpalayam was riding with V.Vellingiri (23) on his pillion near the Anaikatty Coimbatore Road near Periya Thadagam. A truck that suddenly steered right without any indication collided on their two wheeler.
Saravanan sustained injuries on his head and was immediately rushed to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital but succumbed on the way and Vellingiri is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital near Thadagam.
A case has been registered against M.Chelladurai, the truck driver at P.N.Palayam sub division and investigations are on.
