Coimbatore Shopping Festival from Dec. 25

The 3rd edition of Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2015 will begin here from December 25.
A consumer fair, with variety entertainment and games for families, the 10-day festival will have 350 stalls, displaying handicrafts from across the country, consumer durables, gift articles, solar and automobile products and home products. The handicrafts will be sold directly by the artisans.
Organised by CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, the festival is rated as a shoppers’ paradise, where one can view the best of retail products and is meant to promote trade and commerce in the city.
It will also be another tool to promote tourism, besides improving the economic well being of the region.
City Commissioner of Police, A. Amalraj, will inaugurate the festival.
