Police arrests 2 ganja peddlers

Two ganja peddlers, including a woman, were arrested in Peelamedu today and four kilos of contraband was recovered from them.
During their morning rounds, the police noticed the duo moving in a suspicious manner. On searching, they found four kilos of ganja in their possession.
The woman, Rani, was from Sangagiri and is currently living in Somanur. Murugan, of Theni, used to supply ganja to the local peddlers who, in turn, sold it to the college students, in packets of 10 grams, for Rs.200 to 250.
Based on information gathered from them, the police are looking for others involved in this chain.
