District Collector Archana Patnaik met with representatives from Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) who had received investments from investors at the Global Investors Meet held earlier this year.

Over 1800 MSMEs from Coimbatore received investments up to ₹3184.26 crores during the meet which would prove enough to create an industrial hood in the district.

Addressing the representatives at the meet, she said that the industries should proceed towards getting loans and deals with the help of the district administration. “A government order has been issued to finish all the proceedings within 30 days and the administration would help the MSMEs in every aspect,” she said.

She further added that banks should continue to support the MSMEs who received investments by providing loans. “The MSMEs can clarify all the doubts with the industrial department of the administration,” she said.
