Overweight youth commits suicide

Upset over his 110 kilos weight, a 24-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Sugunapuram last night.
According to police, Vetriselvan, weighing about 110 KGs, was a mill employee. Due to his excessive weight, he was suffering constantly from muscular pains, particularly in the legs and back.
Depressed over his pain, Vetriselvan committed suicide by hanging himself with a dhoti in his room last evening. His parents noticed it late at night and immediately called the police.
Police recovered the body and have sent it to the government hospital for postmortem.
