Chain snatched from woman drawing kolam

Two unidentified persons snatched a gold chain, weighing around eight sovereigns, from a woman, who was drawing kolam in front of her house in Ganapathi on Saturday morning.
Gayathri was drawing a kolam at 5.30 a.m. when two men came near her and snatched the chain she was wearing and fled, police said.
After recovering from the shock, the woman managed to scream and draw the attention of her family and neighbours. The duo, however, escaped.
