Special trains to manage Pongal rush

The Southern Railways has announced special trains ahead of Pongal in order to clear the festive rush between Chennai and Coimbatore.
According to a release, train number 06175 from Chennai Egmore to Coimbatore will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.35 am on 13.01.2016 and reach Coimabatore at 9.00 pm on the same day.
The pairing train number 06175 from Coimbatore to Chennai Egmore will leave Coimbatore at 5.30 am on 14.01.2016 and reach Chennai Egmore at 4.15 pm on the same day.
The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpettu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Chinna Salem, Attur, Salem Town, Salem Junction, Sankaridurg, Erode, Uthukuli, Tirupur and Coimbatore North.
Another special train Kochuveli via Salem train number 06178 will leave Kochuveli at 1.00 am on 16.01.2016 and reach Chennai Central at 6.30 on the same day.
The train will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
