PMK Lok Sabha MP and Youth wing president, Anbumani Ramadoss today said that the Centre should immediately approach the Supreme Court and take steps to get the interim stay on Jallikkattu lifted. He added that a permanent solution must be found on Jallikkattu.

He also insisted that the chief minister should convene an all-party meeting and discuss the issue and lead a delegation to the Prime Minister in this issue.

Anbumani, PMK’s Chief Ministerial candidate, was in Coimbatore to interact with the industries and understand their problems. He said that in the last four year, about 60 percent of the industries had closed down due to lack of a supportive industrial policy.

He also pointed out that nearly Rs.65,000 crore worth investment has gone to other states from Tamil Nadu. He pegged such losses at Rs.16,000 crores from Coimbatore alone.

On the poll prospects of the two Dravidian parties, he said that the incumbent AIADMK will be defeated, and that the DMK has lost confidence of the people.
