Alleging attack from the Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath members, members of the Masjide Mada niyya Islahul Muslimeen Sunnath Jamath petitioned the Commissioner of Police A.Amalraj here on Monday.

In the petition stated to CoP, the members have alleged that TNTJ, members have allegedly thrown stones at them while they stopped them from sticking posters in front of the Jamath premises near Karumbukadai.

They had also alleged that TNTJ members have also staged Road side preaching in the area using illicit words against the members of the Masjide Jamath during the meetings.

They have requested that the city police should take necessary actions against TNTJ members who attacked them adding that their conference which is to be held on the 31st of January in should also be cancelled.

Abdur Rahim, the President of the Jamath Ul Ulama of Coimbatore, Nilglris, Tirupur and Erode, Abdul Hassan, District President and heads were also present.
