Gold jewels looted from house

Gold jewels weighing 3 sovereigns were stolen from a house near Avarampalayam here on Monday.
According to sources, K. Navaneetham (55), a private company employee, was residing at Duraisamy Layout at Avarampalayam in the city. On Monday, when he returned from work, he found that some thieves had entered into his house in his absence and had stolen 3 sovereign gold ornaments.
A case has been registered with the Peelamedu police.
