Ninth AVTAR International Film Fest invites entries

The ninth edition of the AVTAR International Film Festival will be hosted by the School of Communication, Dr. G.R. Damadoran College of Science, Coimbatore, on February 29 and March 1 this year. As part of the celebrations, the School of Communication is inviting entries from students for short films and documentaries, animation films, and ad films.
Selected entries will be screened at the film festival.
The contest is open to all students. Those who are interested can download the application form from the official website, http://avtarfest.com/2016/, and follow the instructions.
The department also plans to host competitions like street plays, fashion shows, group dance, and mime for the college students. Information on registration for the various events is available on the official website.
February 18 is the last date to submit the entries.
