35867 students to appear for Plus 2 board exams

Plus 2 students of the city are all set to appear for the exams that will commence on Friday (March 3rd) all over the state.
Around 35867 students from the District will be appearing for the board exams
While 29503 students with a total of 13173 boys and 16330 girls will be appearing for the exams from the Coimbatore Education District, 6364 students of which 28159 boys and 3545 girls will be from Pollachi
Students from 357 schools will be writing the exams in the 94 exam centres with 72 in Coimbatore Education District (CED) and 22 in Pollachi Education District (PED).
2000 teachers will be involved in invigilation and 250 persons will also be involved in the flying squad which would be incharge of all the centres.
