TNAU wins award for best agriculture university and allied courses

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), located in Coimbatore, was conferred with the award for the ‘Best University for Agriculture and Allied Courses’ of 2016.

The award was given for the university’s professional contributions and academic achievement, and on criteria including infrastructure, faculty, placements, strength of students, annual growth, alumni feedback, and the feedback from the industry.

According to a TNAU press release, the award carries a citation, and was received by the University Registrar, Dr. C.R. Anandkumar; and Director, Planning and Monitoring, Dr. M. Chandrasekaran at the Asia Education Summit and Awards 2016 ceremony held at New Delhi on March 15.
