DMK allots 5 seats to MMK

DMK on Friday has alloted five seats to its ally Manitha Neya Makkal Katchi (MMK) for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the State.
In a statement joint statemet issued here by DMK and MMK, both the parties have agreed that MMK will contest in five constituencies.
The constituencies that MMK would contest specifically would be decided in consultation with other alliance partners, the statement added.
The DMK had earlier offered five seats to Indian Union of Muslim League (IUML) without specifying the names of the constituencies.
