Two killed in separate accidents

Two men were killed in Coimbatore in separate accidents here on Saturday.
According to police, in one of the accidents, the victim K.Arun Karthik (24), reportedly working as a software engineer in Coimbatore was residing at Sakthy Nagar in Mettupalayam. On Saturday, while riding near Ettappan Nagar on the Karamadai Road, he lost control of his two wheeler and crashed on the road. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital as he sustained grievous head injuries however, he succumbed on the way to the hospital.
In another accident, R.Surya Prakash (20), a student of a private arts and science college was reportedly travelling in a tractor driven by a relative at Udayakulam in Anaimalai on Saturday. Surya Prakash reportedly fell off the vehicle and succumbed to the injuries on the spot.
Separate cases have been registered with the Coimbatore District Police and the respective police have started the investigation.
