Youth killed in accident

A 20-year-old motorist was killed when his vehicle hit the centre median of the road near Karumbukadai in Coimbatore, on Saturday.
According to sources, the deceased, K. Santhosh Kumar, was residing at Muruga Nagar in Kurichi, near Sundarapuram, with his family members. On Saturday, he was riding his two-wheeler with his relative, R. Dineshkumar (24), riding pillion, near Karumbukadai 2nd lane. The vehicle hit the central median of the road injuring both.
Santhosh Kumar was killed on the spot. Dinesh Kumar, who sustained injuries on his face, is currently being treated at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.
