AICC member Karthi Chidambaram has denied media reports that there were differences of opinion between the top Congress leaders in Tamil Nadu over the issue of seat sharing with the DMK, especially since there is enough time for the poll.

Karthi Chidambaram, son of the former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, said that an eight-member team was constituted for the purpose and clarified that there was nothing to read between the lines. He also said that his father is not involved in the process.

Expressing his confidence that the DMK-Congress alliance will win with a thumping majority, he said that the “people were waiting for a change.”

Regarding the cases that were filed against him, Karthi said that he had already filed relevant papers and documents.
