Like little drops of water make a mighty ocean, every single vote can make a difference. With the intention to ensure that the public, especially college students, a majority of whom are first time voters, exercise their franchise responsibly, a Coimbatore based dance school has plans of organising flash mobs in various public locations in the city, from this weekend onwards. On a daily basis, the dance school will cover a minimum of three locations.

Students of ‘Footloose Dance School’ will participate in the flash mobs that will last a little under 10 minutes. “Through the flash mobs we are trying to create awareness about fitness too. About two minutes will be dedicated towards this. However, the intention of the flash mobs is to ensure that people in the city cast their vote and do not waste their holiday,” Edwin, Founder of Footloose Dance School says.

This is the second year this dance school is organising flash mobs to sensitise the public to exercise their right to vote responsibly. The team is already rehearsing and the founder of this school shares that once the green flag is waived by the authorities, they will execute the plan as scheduled.
