Maoists’ custody extended till April 27

The judicial custody of five Maoists from Kerala, who are currently lodged in the Coimbatore Central Jail, was extended until April 27.

With the previous custody term expiring, the five Maoists, including husband and wife, Roopesh and Shyna, were produced before the District Principal Court at noon today. They are being held under the NSA. The Judge (in charge) extended their custody till April 27.

The five Maoists, arrested from Karumathampatti in May last year, are wanted by the police in many cases in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
