Man commits suicide over extra marital affair

Frustrated with frequent quarrels with his wife over his alleged extra marital affair, a 40 year old man committed suicide by consuming poison at his parent’s residence near Kulathupalayam in Negamam, Coimbatore on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased K.Bagavathy, was reportedly working as a barber and was married to B.Banupriya (29) and residing at Muthanampalayam in Tirupur. The duo had two children. Bagavathy was reportedly having an extra marital affair with another woman for 2 years and this resulted in frequent quarrels.
On Tuesday, a quarrel turned worse and Bagavathy consumed poison at his parent’s house and died there. His body was retrieved and was sent to Pollachi GH for autopsy. A case has been registered with the Negamam Police and they are investigating.
