45-day government exhibition inaugurated

The 45-day-long 30th Annual Government Exhibition, highlighting the various developments and also providing entertainment, was inaugurated here in Coimbatore today, by the district collector, Archana Patnaik.
The 27 stalls, featuring various government departments, are in strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct of the Election Commission, and officials have reported that there will be no violations.
Last year, the exhibition generated sales of Rs.53.40 lakhs. About 2.90 lakh people, including 63,000 children, visited the exhibition.
Entry tickets are Rs.15 for the adults, and Rs.10 for children.
