Major Prasanth Sunil Borde assumed office as Registrar of Sainik School, Amaravathinagar near Udumalpet in Tirupur district on Thursday.

According to a release, Wing Commander Dominic Rayan, the Headmaster, who was Registrar-in-charge of the school, handed over the responsibilities to the incoming officer.

Before assuming office as Registrar, Major Borde was with the 25 Madras Infantry Battalion Group in Manipur.

The new Registrar assumed office in the presence of Group Caption T.N. Sridhar, Principal, Wg Cdr Rayan, the Headmaster, and V. Charles Eugine, Senior Master.
