Air Carnival to begin operations next week

City-based new regional scheduled airline, the Air Carnival is likely to commence its commercial services next week.
As part of a promotional activity, the airline would fly 50 children from the Sadguru Sevashram free of cost on June 18, its director, marketing Kalyanaraman told reporters today.
The trip has been organised in association with the Lions Club International District 324B1, he added.
The first aircraft ATR72.500 has already reached the city airport yesterday and the first commercial flight would be from Coimbatore to Chennai, Chennai to Madurai and Chennai to Coimbatore, Kalyanaraman added.
