3- year- old dies as boiling water falls on him

A three-year-old boy died of burn injuries after boiling water fell on him here yesterday.
Nandhini, a resident of Malumichampatti, took her son Uday Prakash to the temple where she works as a cook.
Nandhini, it is learnt, had kept a pot of water on the stove. Uday Prakash, who was playing in the kitchen, touched the vessel without realising and it fell on him.
Hearing his screams, Nandhini rushed to the spot, and immediately took him to the Government Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.
