Coimbatore hospital receives American award

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, the multi-speciality hospital based in Coimbatore, has won the award for Excellence in Leadership and Community Service, given by New York based Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI).

The award was presented at the ongoing 34th Annual AAPI Convention and Scientific Assembly 2016, held in Marriott Marquis, New York, a hospital release said today.

Nearly 1,700 physicians of Indian origin were present in the conference.

The award, carrying a citation, was received yesterday by the Chief Operating Officer, V. Ramakrishna, from Dr. Seema Jain, the AAPI president.
