A man today sought action against a teacher of a private school for allegedly hitting his son, studying in UKG.

In a petition to the District Collector, Saravanan said his son Bhoopathipandian, had to be admitted to a private hospital as he suffered bleeding injury in his forehead. “The school management in Saravanampatti claims that he fell down and suffered injuries, but the boy says he was beaten by the teacher,” the petition said.

Saravanan urged the administration to take action against the teacher and order an inquiry into the incident.
