CM orders treatment to boy with rare disease

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today directed the officials to take all steps to provide treatment to a boy suffering from a rare disease.

According to an official release here, Dhanush, son of Pavalakodi in Gurupatti village in Krishnagiri district, is suffering from congenital melanocytic hemangioma. Considering the poor family background of Pavalakodi, the Chief Minister has ordered the officials to admit Dhanush to Government Stanley Hospital in Chennai and provide him necessary treatment under Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme.

Also, Jayalalithaa has instructed them to ensure the safe stay of Dhanush and his mother in Chennai during the treatment period.
