Applications invited for MSc Data Analytics

The Bharathiar University has invited applications for M.Sc. Data Analytics course for this academic year.
The course, to be conducted by the Department of Computer Applications, has been introduced from this academic year.
The eligibility criteria is a pass in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum duration with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level, a press release from the University said.
Stating that the talent pool for data analytics around the globe is only three to five per cent, the release said that India would require a minimum of one lakh data scientists in the next couple of years in addition to data analysts and data managers to support the Big Data space.
