Dark Don Racing driver Sudarshan Rao sustained a minor fracture on his leg after his car flipped thrice on the racing track today.

The incident occurred when he was participating in the LGB 4 at Kari Motorway, on the outskirts. After finishing the fourth lap, there was some confusion about the movement of the safety car. In the confusion, the Bengaluru driver tried to move to the side, and in the melee, the car tossed and flipped thrice, crashing with big bang at the track side.

Even after the somersaults, Rao came out of the car, as ambulance and assistance vehicles rushed to rescue him. After first aid for the bruises and minor fracture on his leg, he was admitted to a private hospital where he is recovering.

During prize distribution, the organizers announced, amidst cheers from the crowd, that Sudarshan Rao was stable.
