Central govt orders extension of CBI Director Praveen Sood’s tenure for another year
Two workers were killed and one was injured, after a speeding train hit them, when they were working on the railway track in Tirupur.
Some casual labourers were working on the railway track near the Railway Gate, when the train going from Coimbatore to Salem, ran over them, resulting in the death of two persons on the spot, the police said.
The deceased have been identified as Chinnathambi and Sadayan.
The seriously injured worker, identified as Ramalingam, is undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital.
