Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation, the charitable educational trust of Sakthi Group, has elected Dr. B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar as its Chairman and Managing Trustee. The information was revealed by M. Balasubramaniam, secretary of the foundation.

The post fell vacant following the demise of its previous Chairman, Padmabhushan, Dr. N. Mahalingam. Vanavarayar was previously the co-chairman of the foundation. He will hold the office of the Chairman and Managing Trustee for life.

The Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation runs the Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), an engineering college with more than 6000 students.
