TNAU’s 37th convocation on October 15

The 37th Annual Convocation of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will be held here on October 15.
Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, as Chancellor of the University, will preside over the function. Chief guest Dr GN Magesan, vice chancellor, Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, will deliver the convocation address. State agriculture minister and TNAU pro-chancellor, R Doraikkannu will announce the new endowment prizes and medals.
NABARD chairman Dr Harsh Kumar Bhanwala and Dr Digvir S Jayas, vice-president, University of Manitoba, Canada, will be conferred honorary Doctor of Science degrees at the convocation.
Degree certificates will be awarded to 1,229 candidates in person and 640 candidates in absentia.
