Embryoscopy facility inaugurated

The State Government has allotted Rs. 300 crores for the development of Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, according to State Municipal Administration and Rural Development Minister S.P. Velumani.
Inaugurating the Embryoscopy Time Lapse System facility at the Iswarya Women’s Hospital and Fertility Centre here today, he said a lot of people from other places come to Coimbatore for treatment.
Dr. Chandralekha, Medical Director of Iswarya Women’s Hospital and Fertility Centre said, “Embryoscopy is a milestone in the treatment for infertility couples. Couples who had recurrent failure in IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) have better chance of conceiving with this method”.
More than 30 infertility specialists and gynecologists participated in an interactive session on the latest development in the field.
