In order to keep a wall near the Coimbatore Railway Junction Police Station on State Bank Road safe from constant littering, Swachh Bharat volunteers from the city painted a beautiful canvas on it today.

The team had earlier cleaned the wall which was used for urinating and sticking of movie and political posters and obituaries; however, vandals messed it up again.

According to officials, a decision was made to paint a canvas on the wall to protect it from being ruined by miscreants.

The officials also decided to do similar paintings on other walls so that a cleaner city can be achieved sooner. The paintings aim to bring awareness about cleanliness and have Swachh Bharat mission slogans written on them.
