Three students die in bike-lorry collision

Three college students were killed on the spot, when their motorcycle dashed against a lorry in Pollachi, some 30 km from here, today.
The three, identified as Kalaiselvan, Karthi and Suresh of two colleges in the town, were going to their friend’s house on a two-wheeler after celebrating Pongal festival in their colleges. When the vehicle reached Nallur on Pollachi-Palakkad Road, it hit a lorry, killing them on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent them to Government Hospital for post mortem.
