TNAU organises Open Day

In order to give an overview about agricultural courses and facilities in its constituent and affiliated colleges to students and parents, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) today organised an Open Day.
The Dean (Agriculture) and Chairman (Admission), Dr S Mahimaraja explained about the online admission procedure, scope of agriculture and job opportunities for various courses to the students numbering about 950.
A student volunteer guided tour the students and parents to 20 departments, where they were briefed about agronomy, soil science, microbiology, biotechnology, horticulture and engineering along with library, sports
and hostel facilities.
As for admissions, 17,256 students (10,022 Female and 7233 Male plus one Transgender) have submitted online applications so far.
