Udhagamandalam: The Kothagiri Judicial Magistrate Court today extended for another 15 days the custody of two suspects in the Kodanadu Bungalow security murder and break-in cases.

The suspects, Jamsher Ali and Jitin Joy, were lodged in a jail in Kerala and were produced before Magistrate C Sridhar after expiry of their custody which has been extended to May 31.

The two were brought to court under tight security and later taken back to Kerala, police said.

They are among the eight arrested in connection with the murder of security guard Om Bahadur on April 24 and forcefully entering a room and taking away valuable watches and artefact which were later recovered.
