The third edition of the International Conference on ‘International Marketing in Asia Pacific – Issues and Challenges’ (ICIM 2015) will be held in Coimbatore onSeptember 18 and 19. With the theme “Globalisation, Innovation, Leadership”, it is expected to be a veritable blend of business, entrepreneurship, education, media, strategy, innovation, and social awareness.

Not only will the distinguished speakers be from abroad and various parts of India, but also the participants. They will be travelling from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Taiwan, Maldives, and the United Arab Emirates, to hear the speakers, present papers, join in panel discussions and also witness video conferences.

The conference that aims to deliberate on the divergent issues emerging in the aftermath of globalisation, will serve as a platform to share latest research findings and also brainstorm new research ideas. Quality papers will be published in an ISBN journal.

The conference, to be held at The Residency, Coimbatore, is being hosted by GRD Institute of Management, GRD School of Commerce and International Business, and Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, in association with a host of universities from the United States and the United Kingdom.

According to K.K. Ramachandran, Director, GRD Institute of Management, who is the Conference Chair, the two-day conference will witness 16 keynote speakers drawn from domains related to the theme, speak out their mind.

“Be it about effective communication by Sam Cawthorn, or about gamification by Tobey Hayden, or about innovation by Shiva Ayyadurai, or about finding one’s passion by Kim Owens, or about big thinking by Ketan Bhagat, or about violence against women by Ben Atherton-Zeman, all the speakers will have something relevant for the student, teacher, researcher, entrepreneur, and corporate representative alike,” he says.
