Forest officials rescued a spotted deer from a well near Ettimadai forest range. Later the animal was released into the Mattahukadu forests.

According to M. Senthilkumar, Madukkarai Forest Range Officer, they received an information about a deer that had accidentally fallen into a 60-feet deep well. “A six-member team rushed to the spot. Two of them got into the well and rescued the animal,” he said and added that the animal did not get injured as there was water in the well.
