HC denies actor Dileep bail

Kottayam: Actor Dileep was on Monday denied bail by Kerala High Court in connection with the actor abduction case. The court said granting bail at this juncture was not possible as the prosecution had to collect evidence.

There is prima facie evidence against the actor who is facing grave charges. The prosecution had presented 19 evidences against the actor.

The court observed that Dileep was a popular actor and had the power to influence witnesses.

The case was in the category of rarest of rare ones and investigation was at a crucial stage.
